Das Demoprogramm bietet die Möglichkeit, praktische Ergebnisse der Forschung im Bereich der Datenbank- und Informationssystemtechnologien auf interaktive Weise vorzustellen. Eine Demonstration kann aus Software, Hardware oder beidem bestehen. Eine Einreichung zum Demo-Programm sollte maximal 6 Seiten umfassen (exklusive Referenzen, entsprechend dem LNI style https://gi.de/service/publikationen/lni) zum Themengebiet der BTW passen und folgende Aspekte adressieren:
Eine Motivation der betrachteten Problemstellung
Die Beschreibung des zu demonstrierenden Systems und dessen Alleinstellungsmerkmale
Eine Beschreibung der Demonstration
Alle Einreichungen werden vom Demo-Programmkomitee unter Leitung der Chairs begutachtet. Neben Kriterien wie Relevanz und Innovation wird die Interaktivität der Demonstration dabei besonders berücksichtigt. Angenommene Beiträge werden live vorgeführt und in den BTW-Proceedings publiziert.
Einreichfrist ist 10. November 2024. Benachrichtigung über Annahme/Ablehnung am 18. Dezember 2024. (23:59 Uhr, GMT+1)

Alle Demo-Paper werden im Single-Anonymity Verfahren begutachtet.

The demo program is offering the opportunity to present practical results of research in database and information system technologies in an interactive way to an expert audience.
A demonstration can have the format of software, hardware, or both. Applications for the demo program should be 6 pages max (excluding references, LNI style, see https://gi.de/service/publikationen/lni), they should match the main topics of BTW and should address the following aspects:
motivation for the problem
description of the system that is demonstrated and the system’s unique features
description of the demonstration
All applications will be reviewed by the demo program committee. Assessment criteria encompass relevance, innovation, and especially the interactive character of the demonstration. Accepted contributions will be demonstrated live on BTW and will be published in the BTW proceedings.
